t'Yorkshireman...

...has obviously been spending too much time on the fells and has forgotten that on certain terrain the ground is shared with motor vehicles.

So much so, that when recently striding off the pavement on Chorley New Road to cross Curteis Street, he ran into my youngest daughter's car as she was waiting, stationary, to pull out. He failed to stop, but no damage was done and she won't be taking legal action.

Mind how you go.

It is reassuring to know that in this ever changing world, some things will never be any different.

Not guilty your honour. I do recall stopping for a car at Curtiss Street or thereabouts and being fully contol of my faculties. I also recall braking for a car that was travelling too fast to one junction. Tend to have more problems with those who are unaware of the lane discipline at Chequerbent Roundabout.
And as for comments from people who cannot even speak proper English (proppaagh if you also cannot read English), I'll treat that with the contempt it deserves.
