Long day but easy summit with again staggering vistas all around

Summit - the gent on the left is Mr Bob Packard – a legend in the peakbagging community and this was Bob’s 75th Birthday and his 150th ‘Ultra’

Bob wasn’t continuing to Mt Ararat with us.  He climbed that one on his 70th Birthday – the man’s a machine.  On his way out Bob’s luggage went astray – without batting an eyelid he selected a few bits of kit from the items offered from the rest of us and got on with it.  I would have been in pieces!  He summited this one in Ken’s boots.

Back at the ranch we celebrated accordingly
