Day 2

Starting from Stair and a very steep and relentless climb over Causey Pike, Grasmoor, Sail and Eel Crags all in perfect condition.

Lovely view of Keswick with the church steeple in prominence in the centre of the image.  The only clouds we saw - and soon to clear, on the very summit of Blencathra - the ridge you may be able to make out is Gategill  Fell with the delightfully named Knott Halloo prominent.   This is one I definitely wanted to do, however the icy conditions meant that it was left for another visit.

Day 3

Saw us taking advantage of the frozen conditions to conquer the particularly boggy ridge across Bleaberry fell and then a delightful descent down to Watendlath and back down the Borrowdale valley to Ashness Bridge from whence we started.
